Open Studio Fridays
Starts: 2nd May
Love working at home but miss the opportunity for creative brainstorming and interesting conversations? Work in a studio/office but want a change of environment occasionally? Inspired by Jelly in New York, every week the Pervasive Media Studio opens its doors to anyone who fancies some casual co-working. We provide chairs, tables, wireless and a great space. You bring what you need to work with (laptop/mobile) and provide the conversation.
Open Studio Fridays take place every week, starting on 2nd May, and is open to people of any discipline/sector. Doors open at 9.30 am and close at 5.00 pm (usually with a trip to the bar).

Looking into Broadmead
Broadmead, the existing shopping area in Bristol, is running a summer campaign in the summer months until Cabot Circus opens at the end of the summer. Given the difficult economic climate and extensive works going on in Broadmead at the moment, they are keen to organise an event that will attract people into Broadmead and create a bit of a buzz! They are looking for performers and artists to fill the windows.

Design a new Bristol icon

To celebrate its 100th birthday Bristol Guild of Applied Art invites you to design a new symbol of the city in 2008. All mediums accepted (under 16's paint or draw their ideas).
