Our new meeting point is the top entrance to Ashton Court by the gatehouse (across from the Suspension Bridge) at 9.45am for a 10am departure (due to road closures in the centre for the Bristol 10k).
We're heading out of Bristol on our bikes on Sunday 31st May with two route choices: one family-friendly, one for those who might be partial to a bit of Lycra every now and again.
The ride is open to everyone in the WEDF community and anyone you'd like to bring with you. The more the merrier! Please RSVP by Friday 29 May, indicating which group you think you'll be in and if you're bringing anyone, so we have an idea of numbers. (A note on wet weather — unless the rain is torrential we'll head out whatever!)
The cycle path is closed between Bitton Station & Saltford and the weather isn’t looking great for sunday am so we'll take an alternative route for the family friendly ride: Through Ashton Court along Festival Way to The George in Farleigh / Backwell.
Longer route will still be around Chew Lake to The George - giving a shorter route back - which might be good if you fancy a drink!
