Since 2006, we’ve been working to:
Inspire people – with talks, events and projects
Champion design – by showing the real value it can bring to our economy and society
Share what we know – through Design Buddy, PALS and other training workshops in everything from creative writing and design strategy to finance
Connect creatives – providing opportunities for collaboration, advice and general chinwaggery
We’re looking for some amazing new volunteers to join our team! The following roles are available:

What can you do? The chances are that you’re reading this because you already share our love of design. We need people like you to get the message out there and keep WEDF ticking. Your ideas, talents and energy make all the difference.
We have a vision We want to create a thriving region that embraces the power of design to build the economy and help businesses grow. We think all businesses and organisations can benefit from design to connect with people. We believe an active design network is one big reason why the region is a world leader in the creative services.
Volunteering for us We ask our volunteers to attend our whole-team quarterly meetings as well regular ‘sub-group’ meetings, for example the Talks team. We ask you to commit to at least 1 – 2 days a month. You can divide this time to fit around your existing commitments.
