PALS: Social Climbing and Creative Writing

PALS (Peer Assisted Learning Sessions) are informal group learning and skill sharing sessions for the design community where we collectively explore a subject. PALS can be insightful, inspiring and sociable. We’ll share our questions, thoughts and experience in small groups (and have a couple of people with expertise to call upon). We’re continuing 2019 with two sessions:

Social Climbing // Wednesday 16th October 6.30 – 9pm
A social media focused group learning and skill sharing session. Explore how to step up your profile and create more effective content. We’ll look at how we can we cut through social saturation’, choose the right channels and understand the changing landscape on Social’ – from nano-influencers to deepfakes and the rise of social shopping’. We hope to inspire and help those from the design community to maximise the opportunities Social channels can offer – whether for your clients, or to promote your own creative services or business.

The sessions will include short introductory talks from 2 – 3 people with some expertise and experience – then we’ll collectively explore the subject – sharing questions, thoughts and experience in small groups. For those who are looking to step up their social content – to get more active or more effective and ensure your content has clout.
