Sound Design

  • Thursday 30th November, 18:00 - 23:45
  • The Tunnels, Bristol

WEDF are thrilled to present an evening exploring the relationship between the titans of creativity – music and graphic design. We’re over the moon to have Bristol based design maverick and rap connoisseur Gavin Strange curate and produce this very special, one-off celebration.

We have a stellar line-up of music and design industry folk speaking about their most rewarding music and design projects. They’ll tell us about their biggest challenges and most satisfying projects, with tales of creativity, chaos and grit. Most importantly they’ll give us a personal insight into what got their heart pumping and ear-drums pulsing. We’re delighted to introduce Chris Hopewell from Jacknife prints, Rebecca Cleal, music photographer and printmaker, Adam Rodgers, Creative Director at International Magic, and Jimmy Turrell, graphic artist and video director.

After the talks, DJs take to the floor to continue the immersive celebration of music and design and get the crowd dancing. With food vans, merchandise stalls and a bar – hosted by The Tunnels, the venue will provide the perfect backdrop for our own take on MTV. A visual and audio treat for the senses, it’s a night not to be missed!
